Corporate repositioning for a small-cap engineering services company

Engineering services company acquired an energy efficiency services firm positioning it in a new category and as a first-mover in a high-growth attractive market and needed to re-position and re-launch its story for Wall Street.

  • Crafted new corporate positioning, messaging and communications materials – investor presentation, fact sheet, new templates for quarterly earnings to educate investors and analysts about the new investment opportunity.
  • Drafted strategic press release providing details of company’s new addressable market, business model, growth drivers, strategy, outlook and long-term financial targets.
  • Developed buy- and sell-side targeting strategies to reflect new company positioning and opportunity; arranged a nationwide roadshow to introduce the new story to institutional investors and sell-side analysts.
  • Obtained sell-side coverage from four new firms and expanded institutional ownership to 80%. Market cap increased from $30 million to $400 million.
