Betsy has over 25 years of senior-level communications experience for public, private, and portfolio companies. She has built investor relations and corporate communications programs in agency, in-house, and venture capital settings where she’s counseled founders, CEOs, and Boards on corporate positioning and reporting.  

Betsy was an early addition to the San Francisco office of The Financial Relations Board and contributed to its growth from five people to over 60 during her tenure. She also worked with the late James Weersing of MBW Ventures on building IR and communications programs for portfolio companies, including around billion-dollar acquisitions. 

Her experience covers a vast array of industries including technology, healthcare & life sciences, transportation, gaming & hospitality, industrials, and natural resources. Her public company work includes small to large cap companies.

• Betsy received a BS in journalism/public relations from West Virginia University, and an MBA from Western Governors University.
