Mozzachio, managing principal of Sine Qua Non RE Advisors, on The Mozzachio List podcast to discuss the unlikely start of her career in investment banking...as a secretary at Merrill Lynch. She had zero financial background but made herself indispensable to her bosses, so they decided to lobby for her to join the financial analyst program. The lessons she learned from those early days have guided her throughout her career:

- Jump in, get with the team, and be on the team
- Get things done
- Do things without being asked - be that person who raises your hand and takes on the next project
